Hey Ali- Just finished The Art of Keeping Cool by Janet Taylor Lisle. Great book for your students. It's an easy read (ages 10-14) - Historical Fiction but the boys will particularly enjoy it- Takes place in Little Compton during WWII and it is about 2 young boys who experience the awe and mystique of soldiers in their town and a first-hand fear of the Germans. (Hey- I might use that description in Balderdash)
