When Crickets Cry by Charles Martin

I have not read this one in a while. I have loved everything I have read by this author. I love the way he grows the characters and creates very loving relationships. I will admit usually have a good cry.

The Long Road Home A Story of War and Family by Martha Raddatz

My husband recommends this recent nonfiction read. He screened it for my students but some of the language made it not appropriate for the classroom.

The Book Thief by Markus Zusak

I will add this to my list, I enjoy reading and being able to recommend books to the students I teach.

The Wildwater Walking Club by Claire Cook

This was suggested but I have not read it yet!

Sarah's Key by Tatiana de Rosnay

This is one of my favorite books lately. The strength of the main character developed over the course of decades. I was so excited to read it that I bought two accidently. I sent one to my aunt and I am so excited to see if she liked it as much as I did.

The Help by Katherine Stockett

I finished The Help by Kathrine Stockett over the Christmas break. It was recommended to me and I loved it. I was captivated by the characters and could feel myself drawn into the drama of certain situations. I really enjoyed it and think I might have to read another novel by this author.
